Day 01: Cochin
Arrive Cochin. On arrival our representative will assist you to your hotel where you can relax for the remaining part of the day.
Overnight stay at hotel in Cochin.
Day 02: Cochin
Kochin is popularly known as the Queen of the Arabian Sea, it is the oldest European settlement in India. Arrive at Kochi and check into the hotel. Take the city tour of Kochi; visit the Dutch Palace, the Jewish Synagogue, Church of St. Francis, the Bolghatty Palace and the Chinese fishing nets. In the afternoon go on a cruise of the harbour. Cochin has one of the finest natural harbors in the world. In the evening watch a Kathakali dance performance with make up demonstration. Kathakali is a unique dance form that has a 2000 year old history and more that 100 different 'mudras' or hand gestures. The Kathakali dances are based on episodes from the Ramayana and Mahabarata, the two great Indian Epics. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 03: Cochin to Munar
In the Morning after breakfast drive to Munnar enroute visit tea plantations. On arrival in Munnar, check in at hotel.
Afternoon Boat ride in the lake.
Overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 04: Munnar
The day is free for your leisure.
Overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 05: Munnar to Periyar
Proceed to Thekkady. Enroute see the plantations and small Kerala villages. Thekkady is also known as Periyar because of the Lake Periyar. Checkin at hotel. The river Periyar is the longest river in Kerala. This is the only perennial river in South India with clean water. Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary in part of the Cardamom Hills on the Western Ghats and is one of the largest wildlife reserves in India. Spend the night at the hotel.
Day 06: Periyar to Kottayam
Early Morning drive to Kottayam and on arrival, switch over to the House Boat and cruise along the backwaters, passing through paddy fields, villages, market etc.
Overnight on board HOUSE BOAT.
Day 07: Alleppey to Kovalam
Morning: Drive to Kovalam (180 kms/04½ hrs) and on arrival in Kovalam, check in at a beach resort. Rest of the day to relax at the beach or indulge in Ayurvedic massages. Overnight in Kovalam.
Day 08: Kovalam
Full day free on the beach. Overnight in Kovalam.
Day 09: Kovalam
Full day free on the beach. Overnight in Kovalam.
Day 10: Kovalam to Mumbai via Trivandrum
Morning: Assistance and transfer to Trivandrum airport in time to connect flight to Mumbai. On arrival in Mumbai assistance at airport and transfer to city hotel for wash and change. Rest of the day free for last minute shopping or packing. Evening: After farewell dinner, assistance and transfer to International airport in time to connect your onward flight home.
